An amazing amount of misinformation? is easily and readily available to the public about health and nutrition. And the destructive power of this is obvious when we observe the increase of degenerative disease in “developed nations” despite the advanced health care systems available in such countries.

The truth is that the human body is designed to be healthy and productive beyond the age of 100.

As a civilization, we are far from reaching our potential. Most of us are dissatisfied and have difficulty accepting our lives; this is reflected in our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual discomfort and distress. We feel that we are trapped in the back-seat of the runaway vehicle called “life,” rather than in the driver’s seat of our destiny. We have become so encased in our lifestyles that we see no apparent way out of them.

But there is a better way that has pioneered a lifestyle that works elegantly and successfully. Not that it is new. On the contrary - it merely follows the laws of life that were given to us at the time of our creation. Every cell in our bodies follows these laws. To live via those laws takes courage, faith, and perseverance. And the result of doing so is an open door to infinite human potential.

It is important to understand that the catalyst for change is the belief system. Belief is the human characteristic that allows change to be possible. It’s what is necessary to affect and effect change in personal patterns. You need a change in your belief-patterns to really make a sustainable improvement in your health.

Let’s discuss some of the major principles that this better way is based on.

Principle 1 - Your body is essentially made up of trillions of cells powered by the sun.

Your cells get all the elements they need for health from the sun. your cells get the proteins, minerals, hormones, carbohydrates, vitamins, oxygen, chlorophyll, enzymes, etc. from the sun, whether directly or indirectly, thereby providing the conditions for optimum health.

Principle 2 - Three of the most important foods in terms or nutrition are fresh water algae, sprouts, and sea vegetables .

These foods contain solar energy in a form that is the easiest to digest of any other foods available. All the nutritional components that you need for a healthy life are in these foods in appropriate balance with little waste material.

Principle 3 - Eating foods that have high levels of raw chlorophyll will provide a consistent flow into your blood of the most powerful nutrients available anywhere on earth.

The result is you get a much stronger immune system and your red blood cells will have a better ability to transport oxygen around your body.

Principle 4: - Oxygen, enzymes, trace minerals, and hormones have been the most ignored and underestimated elements in the contemporary science of nutrition.

However, an awakening among nutritional scientists is occurring which is confirming how important these components are.

Principle 5 - Excess protein (more than 5% of the diet) is one of the key causes of death from diseases that are considered degenerative.

Multiple types of cancer, diabetes, liver and kidney dysfunction, and heart disease,have been connected to eating too much protein; more than the body needs. Note that a baby gets no more than 3% protein from the mother’s milk. Meat - a conventionally-touted source of protein - stays in the human body for at least three days, produces excess acidic waste, and makes depleting demands of the body.

Principle 6 - Too much fat lowers your blood’s ability to transport oxygen to your cells.

It has been determined that 5% is the natural limit of fat-consumption for a healthy individual. Remember that oil is liquid fat.

Principle 7 - Most of what you will find in a “health-food-store” is actually harmful for you.

That includes many supplements and herbs that are promoted because of the healing qualities they supposedly possess. At most, 15% of all the products available in conventional “health-food stores” can be recommended as nutritionally sound to an acceptable extent.

Principle 8 - The “life” that is naturally found in foods is destroyed by cooking and processing it.

The consequent lifeless food slowly kills those who eat it. Your immune system reacts to this food as soon as it enters your body. The number of white blood cells in your blood increases quickly and sharply, indicating that there is either an infection or poison in the body.

Most of these beliefs run counter to the traditional views on nutrition and it is expected that you may have a strong resistance to some or all of them. But the results of over 50 years that these beliefs have been put into practice by over 300,000 people speak for themselves.
